VACUUM INSULATED PIPING
Perpetual Static Vacuum / Custom Engineered
Eden Cryogenics custom engineers and designs each vacuum insulated piping system to meet the stringent requirements of the ASME B 31.3 “Petroleum Refinery Piping Code”. This requirement along with the high standard for quality built into each Eden piping system ensures minimum heat leak and long service life for each system. Eden vacuum insulated piping design is a culmination of decades of experience in engineering design, technical support, field service, and product innovation.
The Eden Vacuum Insulated system starts by providing the customer the tools necessary to evaluate his design for performance, service, maintenance, and economies of use. Unlike many mass produced products the Eden piping is analyzed for thermal performance, system movement, and customer’s unique project requirements. Only then will the piping fabrication begin using skilled technicians and certified welders will years of experience. Minimum requirements include:

CRYOGENIC VALVES
Highest Industry Standards, Leak Tight
The Eden Cryogenics valve line incorporates certified material for hardware and software and is assembled using only trained technicians and certified welders. Each valve is fully tested to the rigid standards required by the industry and aerospace markets. Testing includes but is not limited to dimensional, radiography, mass spectrometer leak, pressure test (body and across the seat), functional, and performance. Once all testing is complete each Edenvalve is final cleaned, sealed, and packaged for delivery. Eden Cryogenics respects customer special requests for testing, certification, and documentation.
Eden valves incorporate state-of-the-art designs which include the ability to service the vacuum jacketed valves without affecting the vacuum, easy field conversion between operational modes, interchangeability of parts, designed for ease of cleaning, and conformance to applicable codes and standards. In addition designs are utilized which provide the highest performance in industrial and aerospace applications while addressing minimum cool down, heat leak, and economy in fabrication. Each valve is manufactured to stringent quality and dimensional standards and arrive in the field ready for the service they were intended. Eden Cryogenics stocks valves from ¼” OD tube to 4” NPS pipe size and will fabricate valves to 14” NPS and beyond. All valves are available with a variety of end connections including socket, butt weld, flanged, threaded, and special designs to meet customers’ requirements. |

CRYOGENIC CONNECTORS
Bayonets for every Application
EdenCryogenic Couplings (Bayonets) are manufactured to the highest industry standards using 304/304L grade stainless steel. Available in sizes from ½” OD tube size to 14 NPS pipe size for all cryogens including ultra low heat leak designs for liquid helium. Couplings are analyzed to insure conformance to the ASME B31.3 piping code. All sizes are designed with no hidden cavities or crevices which would prevent usage in oxygen service. Eden bayonets are close tolerance design (0.003” to 0.004”) gas vapor seal between the male and female joint. Standard O-Ring seal material is fluorocarbon rubber with other materials available for severe applications. All joints are available with optional anti-galling coating (male only), flanged connections, nose seals, and other project specific options.
All Eden Cryogenic Couplings are mass spectrometer tested to 1 x 10-10 scc/sec helium. Couplings are designed and tested to operate in 150 psig systems with optional designs available for higher pressures.

VACUUM EVACUATION VALVES
Available for Standard and Unique Applications
Eden Cryogenics vacuum evacuation valves are engineered and designed for rugged service in severe outdoor applications. Fabricated from 304/304L grade stainless steel multiple designs exist to meet budget, application and service requirements. All Eden Cryogenic evacuation valves are engineered and designed to meet code requirements for over-pressure relief in a vacuum jacketed system. All designs relieve at approximately 15 psig and are supplied with protective covers to prevent contamination from dirt or moisture. Unique designs provide for installation of isolation valves, thermocouple gauge tubes, multiple tubes, and protective covers for valves and tubes. Each design utilizes dual fluorocarbon rubber O-Rings and is tested to seal leak tight when mass spectrometer leak tested at 1 x 10-10 scc/sec helium. Removable evacuation Valve Operators exist for each size and configuration allowing easy connection to vacuum pumping devices and insuring a positive static seal upon final evacuation. |

CRYOGENIC FILTER ASSEMBLIES
Stainless Steel Housing and elements
Eden Cryogenics engineers, designs, and fabricates vacuum jacketed and unjacketed filter assemblies for all cryogens. Manufactured from 304/304L grade stainless steel with replaceable/cleanable filter elements, the Eden cryogenic filter provides a custom solution to your filter needs. In addition to an engineering design which meets the ASME B31.3 code requirements each filter is engineered around a standard design to meet the customers’ specific and unique application. All assemblies are dimensionally inspected, tested for functionality, pressure tested, leak tested to 1 x 10-10 scc/sec helium, and commercially oxygen cleaned. Filters are available with optional high-point purge connections, low point drains, pressure taps, differential pressure gauges, variable housing designs, back-pressure flow protection, and specialized cleaning. |

HINGE AND GIMBLE JOINTS
Specialized Joints to Accommodate Movement and Pressure
Eden Cryogenics engineers, designs, and fabricates hinge and gimble joints to allow system movement for higher pressure vacuum jacketed and unjacketed cryogenic applications. The Eden hinge and gimble assemblies are custom designed and supplied as individual units for fabrication in an existing system design or supplied as a component in a Eden designed and fabricated vacuum jacketed system. Custom engineered to control angular movement in any direction while preventing bellows blow-out, dead load extension, pressure thrust loads, and torsion loads Eden hinge and gimble joints provide a solution to higher pressure cryogenic system movement. |
